BIKING

First of all... It bugs me that they only offer boring fonts on this blog page. Just thought i'd throw that out there.

I have a few posts coming up of some photo shoots, but I thought i'd share a couple of pictures of Stephen and I (without his permission). Our newest hobby is Mountain Biking, and we LOVE it. It is a hobby that both of us truly enjoy and truly enjoy doing it together. Stephen is not a fan of me bringing my camera on the little bike outing being that we look like dorkos in our helmets and tights, but I did it anyway. I told him I wouldnt post them on facebook... and i'm not :)

These were taken with a little hp point and shoot so forgive the poor quality of them.

The Thompsons

I had the pleasure of taking The Thompson kid's portraits a couple of weekends ago. Lauren was one of my room mates in college and one of my good friends. I have never seen her interact with all of her brothers at once, so I had so much fun just watching that and capturing those moments. Here are a few of my favorites:

Josh and Ashley

Ok... I know ive been slacking big time on the whole blogging thing. So im going to try and stay on top of it now.

With that said... I had the pleasure of photographing the Skinner's wedding 3 weeks ago. I had so much fun. It was so obvious that their relationship was ordained by God and that they have kept Christ at the center of their relationship. I am going to post a few of my faves from the wedding and some from the reception. Winner of the most outrageous reception pictures goes to Lauren Brown and Rebecca Skyrme. If only I could bring them to all the weddings to get the party started! ;)

im engaged!!!

my sister, emily has encouraged me to start a blog telling of my many adventures doing photo shoots.
i decided that i wanted my first post to be about me getting a big fat bling on my finger :).

stephen invited me over for dinner... cooked a gourmet meal... with a dozen roses sitting on the table. i had no clue that it would be the night i was getting engaged. he had assured me that it would be a while before i got a ring. after dinner i went and sat down on the couch and before i could even start talking, i looked down and stephen was on one knee. and there it was... my handsome, wonderful fiance' holding my beautiful ring.

i am now "mrs. townsend to be" !!
